Head Coach Marian Mattern

The head coach of the Honey Badgers 10u - Mattern, Marian Mattern is a native of Austintown and comes from a strong softball pedigree. During her playing days, Marian was a slugger putting the outfield fence in jeopardy each time she stepped to the plate. With over a decade of coaching experience, she’s now in her fifth year as a head coach in the Honey Badger organization. Starting the 8u program with players as young as 4 years old, she has now guided that core group to elite status, being recognized as one of the premier 10U teams in the Midwest.
