The Honey Badgers 10u Brindle team has been super busy for the past month. They are currently in the stretch of 6 tournaments in a row and returning from each of them with fantastic results. 

Over Memorial Day weekend they competed in Kent, OH at the Salute to Service tournament. They finished the weekend 3-0-2 and as Co-Champs in a rain shortened championship game.

The weekend after, they stayed home to defend turf at the Batter Up for Autism tournament held in Austintown, OH. Once again, they put on another display of hard work and effort that ended with them securing another championship. Their record for the weekend was another flawless one, going 5-0.

June 8th and 9th saw the 10U squad travel to wild and wonderful West Virginia. In Morgantown they played some stiff competition and finished with a 3-2 record, only being bested twice by the eventual champions.

This past weekend saw them on the road again, heading to Castalia, OH to compete in Sheer Madness National Collegiate Showcase tournament. One of the biggest tournaments in Ohio didn’t seem to phase them as they put on another performance on a bigger stage. After taking down some big named teams in Ohio, the girls finished with a 5-3 record, finally succumbing to the heat and long days in the championship game. They finished second in the Gold East bracket!

Their hard work, teamwork and dedication has been paying them dividends in results over this long stretch as they look to continue their success in their final 4 tournaments of the season. Each girl has stepped up at crucial moments to continue their run this season. Watch for them this coming weekend, once again in West Virginia, at Rumble on the River in Weirton!
